Willis Tower, A Trip In Sky Deck CHICAGO, USA 5May19

So unable to move due to his surgeries, my father was feeling very anxious and equally depressed. Immediately, I recalled the sponsored Sky deck passes that my friends gave me for my work and thought, hey let’s take my father there to enjoy.

Father was feeling sad that he couldn’t walk so I thought taking him to the 2nd The tallest building in Chicago will make him feel better.

According to Trip advisor Sky deck Chicago, standing 1,353 feet tall, is one of the tallest building in the world. How tall in comparison you ask. See the picture below.

Though its approximate 301 meters shorter than al Burj Khalifa, but it’s still pretty high. A view from there is a killer and a fall for a fact is killer.

It wasn’t always on top twenty tallest buildings during the 1974-1988. It was the tallest building in the world, holding the record for 14 long years!

So what can you do at this tallest building?

1. Breakfast in the Sky
If doing breakfast by your dining table is too old school for you, or you are a child of a Pakistani Politician who earned his money through sweat and quite frankly blood (Innocent citizen’s blood) then immediately make a reservation at this building. Cost almost $125 per person and available Monday – Friday at 7 am. Jokes apart its stunning, just look at it

For reservations contact at sales@theskydeck.com or call 312.875.9447

2. Lunch in the Sky: why stop at breakfast. Want to burn more cash while enjoying the stunning view? Well the Willis Tower Offer’s Lunch at a slightly elevated 99th floor. I cannot emphasize how amazing the food is though. It costs about $80 and starts at 12:00 pm.

3. PIE in the Sky VVIP dinner: As if breakfast and lunch was not enough, the Sky deck offers lunch. It’s called VVIP because the reservation is hard to get, occurs on the tallest 103 floors and starts when the building is closed to public. $100 per person and 3 course meal, catered by Giordano’s Pizza. 2: Lunch in the Sky: why stop at breakfast. The views at night time when you have the whole window to yourself are just as amazing

Afzal Ul Rahman Khan’s biography: Actually you’ll be surprised to know the main architect of this building was a Bangladeshis from then East Pakistan who came to US on Full bright and Pakistani scholarships. His work in that era when racism was at peak inspires other Desi people to work towards success.

The Ledge: what is the Ledge you ask? we’ll have a look

Walk out onto the Ledge, a glass box-like balcony from the building where you can view the city up to 50 miles. Stunning and I saw again Stunning views.
